Mr. Ng  is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. He is also a MBA Graduate from the University of Malaya where he majored in International Business and Corporate Finance.

Since his admission, he has been in private practice where he was responsible for strategic legal advisory work, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, cross border transactions and corporate finance for both traditional and new economy companies. In the course of legal practice, he has counseled Fortune 500 companies, pharmaceutical and environmental sciences companies, logistic companies, fund and asset management companies, hospitals and medical service providers, investment banks, insurance, manufacturing and technology firms. Mr. Ng has extensive cross-border investment and transactional experiences in the Asian, China, European and American context. He has led IPO exercises as well as schemes of arrangement and other restructuring exercises of public listed companies. He is also a Registered Trade Marks Agent and heads the technology law practice for ROZLAN KHUEN.

Mr. Ng was also previously a general counsel at a regional e-business and technology group of companies where he headed the teams responsible for legal, corporate and investment affairs. He was formerly a partner at a large Kuala Lumpur firm where he led the corporate, capital market and technology law teams. He is a fluent Cantonese and Mandarin speaker.

ROZLAN @ MALCOLM MURPHY ] Rozlan was born in Kuching, East Malaysia and educated at St. Joseph’s School, Kuching. He is admitted both as an Advocate and Solicitor to the High Court of Malaya and as an Advocate to the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak.

Encik Rozlan was initially practiced as a litigator and has conducted interlocutory proceedings, trials, appeals and applications at all levels of the Malaysian Courts. He has also experience in arbitration proceedings. As a corporate lawyer, he has extensive and deep experience with different industry sectors such as oil and gas, hydro and water projects, engineering and construction, security, automotive, franchises and venture capital. He has handled a wide variety of due diligence exercises, corporate, mergers and acquisition and capital markets related work. In addition to being a corporate and commercial practitioner, he also handles banking, finance and real property related work.

Encik Rozlan was a former banker prior to commencing law practice where he garnered experience in banking law, credit analysis, loan documentation and business evaluation and feasibility studies.
